The Land

THE LAND

Last night Doug taught on key words that help one understand The Commands, [ after we had our fill of fellowship, birthday party for Donna and food. ]

It was encouraging to me that the Hebrew children grew up with this example. My hope is that HOLY SPIRIT will plant this wisdom in my heart so that I may act on GODS way of dealing with the those who live and die on HIS land.

There were many key words pointed out*. It is “land” that is now burning in my heart enough to provoke a search of scripture and this journaling. “Land” is used about 175 times in Deuteronomy.

Satan wills that land ownership is the source of subsistence and that the use/ miss-use of land generates wealth.

GOD’s will for the land is found in Lev.25: 23

“The land shall not be sold forever

FOR THE LAND IS MINE;

for ye are strangers and sojourners with ME.”

Father Abraham accepted this command and walked by faith in the land where ABBA put him. He was blessed!!! Hebrews 11: 8-12

But after the times of the Exiles—GOD’s way for HIS people to have tranquility on HIS land was lost. The church at Jerusalem in the 1st century A.D, knew nothing of it. Acts 4:37

Has the church, as we know it, really lost any blessing in not being able to experience being a pilgrim in GOD’s LAND??? Please consider that the walls of Jerusalem are the most secure walls on earth, by scripture, and by Hebrew tradition. The horns of the alter, on the temple grounds, was the only refuge for those about to be executed. The temple mount [ Mt. ZION ] was the navel of the universe by tradition.

The Good News

Do not despair gentle Christian, for is not new wine more appropriate for a new and better covenant? The old city will pass away and a New Jerusalem is being built for us!

We are not strangers to God on pilgrimage to a land that HE will show us.

We are, by the blood of the LAMB OF GOD, friends of our LORD and joint

heirs with the SON. The promise land is ours by inheritance.

All the blessings of the LAW and Commands in Deut. 28 are ours.

None of the curses of the LAW and Commands found in Deut. 28 belong to us.

* I now have the word “rest” burning in my gizzard.
