Instant text messaging would be great
If the technology were given to the apes
Because
The devorce rate for the apes is now zero
The incidence of child abuse among apes is now zero
No ape ever raised the credit default rate to 30%
Apes never built bombs to use on neighbors who would not convert
So why would apes benefit from instant text messageing?
My conclusion is that if apes had it— they would use it like humans use it.
Before, they would learn by doing or experimenting.
After, they could learn from anyone with 2 thumbs to write.
What impish animals have learned by hard work and a curious mind,
Can now instantly appear on their screen about as fast as it is entered.
When the technology comes full circle—
When apes get offers of new credit cards in the mail—
[Get rid of your old, used cards. Get new!]
Then it will be too late. We must not let this happen!
