A Bridge
Larry Norman and other JESUS people led the way in getting a lot of stiffness and formality
out of the Christian church. I am thankful. That generation could be called a “bridge”.
Remember how Abraham went out from one country to become a vagabond in another country.
For the rest of his life, he was lookimg for a city. By faith Abraham looked for 100 years before he
found that city. Abraham gave believers the bridge of “faith”.
May I put forth a bridge for our time and this place? My bridge language is German and the word:
GESUNDHEIT
The interpretation for gesundheit is the English word: HEALTH—–in the imperative mode.
When we speak “gesundheit” over someone——we are commanding “HEALTH” over them. “Health in them.
“Health” to them; in the imperative mode. Reader; I speak to you—–GESUNDHEIT!!!
Speaking of Germany and Germans; Remember how they were used to launch the world wide
rebelion called the Protestant revolution. I see a world wide revival coming from this part of the world.
Change will come from the Germans in the healthcare industry. The health of the physical body is going to be effected by physicians in the way that JESUS prophesied in Matthew 9: 12-13.
The New Living translates
…. ”Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.
Then HE added,
Now go and learn the meaning of this scripture
I want you to be merciful, I don’t want your sacrifices.
For I have come to call sinners—–
Not those who think they are good enough.”
